froknowsphoto.com I was searching around the Flickr Photo group a little while ago and this image popped on the screen. This is a great capture from a wedding, it captures the bride in the limo and so much more. Look at the reflection, there are multiple stories going on in this image which is just amazing. When you have the ability to see through the image and capture something like this you are really on the ball. @TheNxtLife I was in the same boat. I do a lot of video. I was debating on getting the 7d or the D7000. I decided to go with the Nikon D7000. I now the Canon has more frame rates. The D7000 shoots 24fps in 1080p. I am pretty impressed with the Video using the 50mm 1.8 Just remember to manual focus because the auto focus for video on the D7000 searches for focus a a lot.

@JaredPolin why/how would a 70-200 be limiting (considering using only 1 lens at the moment)? i want to start with it, is that a bad idea?… thanks

If I am starting off but have used cameras like the d90 should I save up and get the d7000 or get the canon 2ti (i am focusing on video) or is there a camera coming out or is out that you would recommend?

What advice do you have for someone that would want to start a wedding photography business? I know that is an extremely broad question, but I was just wondering what your thoughts are on this. Thanks!

Jared, I know you have said that you started in the film days, do you ever just go out and shoot a roll of film sometimes?

@setosail tough question i know which three i would take lol. Id go with the middle of the road 24-70 as i could do wide and i could do 70 and get closer and still get killer images.. 70-200 could limit to much.

If you could only choose ONE lens for a week what would you use, and why?

Enjoyed the conversation. Nice picture too. I got a quick question, I am finally upgrading from a film SLR to a DSLR. I had kodak and I’m not sure which major competitor to go with. My top 2 are the Canon 550D and the Nikon D3100, from a photo perspective not video, which one should I get? And I also plan to get either a prime lens or a macro lens (please keep it under $300). Thank you.
